Do you ever have those nights when you just want a good burger? Man, I do. Rounds Premium Burgers in West Hollywood have those burgers and they invited us to come check them out. Their burgers are easily customizable and are just the right amount of everything you’d want in a good burger. It’s a balanced burger… pending your choice of additional toppings.

When you walk up, there’s a great patio outside with bar-height tables and chairs. They have a similar bar inside and tables as well, giving a casual vibe to the place. When you walk in you’re greeted by an organized ordering system. Other establishments are a little tougher to figure out so this was very intuitive.

I appreciate a place that actually wants me to understand what I’m ordering. The ordering sheets are a step by step guide to the burger ordering process itself. Also, there are just the right amount of options so I don’t have to ask, “So what’s actually in this sauce?”

If you’re not feeling like filling out a sheet, they have tried and true specialty burger combinations for you to choose from that look quite tasty. Otherwise, I’d suggest building your own.

We got a beef burger on a fresh bun (so key) with garlic aioli sauce, lettuce, and cheese. Also, we got another beef burger on a fresh bun (seriously, so key) with chipotle ketchup sauce, blue cheese, crispy bacon strips, and grilled onions. Each burger was cooked just right to our preferences, and ended up being a slightly bigger burger than we thought. The flavors all worked very well together giving us a savory treat. The fresh buns were perfect: soft bread on the inside and lightly toasted on the outside. Definitely not burnt. 

Now that’s only the burgers. Their house-cut fries are absolutely fantastic. They weren’t undercooked or too well done; the perfect balance in a fry. I haven’t experienced that in a long time. 

We tried a few dipping sauces. The ranch sauce was by far my favorite. It wasn’t too heavy or light. I wasn’t sure about it at first, but it was a great compliment to the fry that gave it a lighter, cooler taste… and caused me eat so many more of them. The other sauces were yummy as well including a BBQ and a chipotle aioli.

Rounds Premium Burgers is great for when you just want a good burger and a casual atmosphere.
