Seasons 52 – Every dish under 475 calories, HOW?! — Century City

Tucked away in a corner of the Westfield Century City Mall, sits Seasons 52 where natural cooking techniques and fresh, seasonal ingredients inspire the menu. It changes with the season, so they have four main menus a year and fifty-two specials menus a year. Pretty awesome. Every dish on their menu is less than 475 calories and is a decent portion size. I don’t know how they do it.

Inside, you’ll find a warm and sophisticated charm awaiting you. There are too many options to choose from! We decided to get the artichoke and goat cheese flatbread for our appetizer. It was a much larger item than I expected, but greatly appreciated. It was light, incredibly flavorful, and perfect for sharing. It could be one person’s main dish. I may have to do that next time… I can’t stop thinking about it.

After quite a difficult decision making process, I chose their Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli. Usually ravioli dishes are a little heavy, which I welcome during dinner, but this was incredibly light and didn’t overwhelm me. You could really taste the fresh and savory ingredients. The bread was perfectly toasted.

Everything we’d had up until this point in the meal was fantastic and we were feeling good.  Then we remembered what drew us to this restaurant in the first place: their mini indulgences. They had a selection of ten or so small desserts in a tiny glass. How could you resist?! Our waitress brought the entire selection to the table, one of each. I was so tempted to say, just leave them all, but I was far too full already. I chose the red velvet mini indulgence. Alternating layers of an airy cream and moist red velvet cake—it was simply an amazing end to a good meal.

Seasons 52 is a great place for dinner or drinks. It serves up some fresh and healthy dishes with a focus on taste.
